Lapland summer on its best!
The summer in Lapland started in June, when the weather was warmer than usual. Thankfully July has also offered some rain, which made everything bloom, nature’s color palette mixed with the nightless night is incredible. Sunlight and activities for 24 hours – can you ask for more?
Until the end of July, there is a summer discount for the long distance spring skiing event, on April 17th 2021, the Ylläs-Levi: Registration fee for 70km is now only 110€ and the registration fee for the shorter distance, 55km is 85€.
Ylläs summer news!
Ylläs has won the award for the Best Outdoor destination in the Nordic countries this year! The award was given by the Scandinavian Outdoor Award Travel. Congratulations Ylläs!
Domestic traveling has been very popular this summer and Finns have been enjoying the Lappish magic, especially by biking in nature. Ylläs Bike Park and the trails in the area have attracted travellers near and far. There are so many cyclists in particular that it is now worth booking a rental bike in advance! Ylläs has many services open that serve their customers during their holidays.
Levi’s summer news!
The increase of domestic traveling has also been seen in the Levi area. Visitors come to enjoy the nature and services of the Levi area. Some tourists have also used Levi as a stop for a few days when the road trip is to Norway, for example.
Cycling in various forms as well as Levi’s Adventure Park have been very popular. The Adventure Park has even set visitor records for many days. Levi Bike Park is already in heavy use and a completely new route, the Village Trail, is also being built there, which aims to be the longest route in Finland approached by a lift.
